According Rob Berg, Manager of the Madras Municipal Airport, this years AIRSHOW will have many new attractions, including the US ARMY Special Forces Black Daggers.
We asked Mr. Berg why the Navy Blue Angels or the Air Force Thunderbirds are never scheduled. He stated it “will never happen” due to costs involved-AIRSHOW SPONSORS would be required to pay all expenses: motel, car rental and food for all aircrews/ground crews.
Additionally, Mr. Berg stated there is a minimum of 100K attendees for the above to fly the skies over Madras.
