DINER OPEN, DINNER WAS GOOD

Last Monday, the Madras Black Bear Diner opened for business despite Governor Kate Brown’s mandate shuttering restaurants.

Today, Ranch Matters (RM) stopped by for dinner and the diner was packed. We observed all of the staff wearing masks and the booths separated by plexiglass. RM was told that a lot of local customers are supporting Joe Davis, the Diner’s owner decision to take a stand.

We briefly spoke with Davis, but at this time he did not want to comment.Whether you agree or disagree with his decision to open, Davis should be applauded for taking a stand.
