At last Monday night’s (3/16/20) Ranch BOD MEETING, the Board adjourned to Executive Session for about 40 minutes “TO CONSULT WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING INTERPRETATION AND OPERATION OF 2016 BY-LAWS AMENDMENT
(IF ACTION NEEDED, WILL RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION)”
The Board reconvened and Ranch President Carl Harbour stated,
“As a result of a conversation with our attorney regarding the 2016 lawsuit…”
RESOLUTION 2020-3-16-B was passed with a “vote of seven yes, and one abstention.”

Curiosity has got the best of me.
At last Monday night’s BOD MEETING (March 16) when you adjourned for “Legal” matters you did not report what legal matter was to be the subject.
However, the Agenda reflects:”….CONSULT WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING INTERPRETATION AND OPERATION OF 2016 BY-LAWS AMENDMENT (IF ACTION NEEDED, WILL RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION FOR VOTE)”.
After listening to the audio recording of what you had decided in Executive Session you passed RESOLUTION 2020-3-16B apparently correcting or amending what?
Can you please clarify exactly what was the intent behind passing the above Resolution and specifically decipher what your statement meant for the Ranch Membership?
The timing of this Resolution is of interest to me being both as a former defendant and director.
Lastly, did Director/Secretary, Judy Gilliland recuse herself from this Resolution/Vote? It’s worth mentioning that she was a member of the “Concerned Ranch Residents” that originally organized the current 2016 Ballot Measure Lawsuit and additionally helped finance the pending lawsuit? Conflict of interest?
I am also concerned that brand new members on the Board also did not recuse themselves, as new Directors could have not been brought up to speed on this ongoing matter. Exactly how informed are they?
